Members of our team have been involved in handling insolvency matters. The firm rendered transactional service on the Federal Government’s privatization program. The firm was a member of the Legal Alliance, a consortium of law firms specializing in handling privatization matters and which handled privatization matters for the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).

The Legal Alliance [with our firm as an active member] acted as solicitors to the Bureau of Public Enterprises in the divestment of several government-owned companies. Amongst such companies were Delta Steel Company Ltd, Iwopin Pulp & Paper Company Ltd, Central Packages of Nigeria Ltd, and Nigerian Newsprint Manufacturing Company Ltd. Oku-Iboku. A partner in the firm was appointed by the Federal High Court (the court vested with jurisdiction in the area) and successfully liquidated a company under voluntary liquidation as part of the Federal Government’s privatization programs.
